Ace Watch Frequently Asked Questions

Are the watches on the site actually in stock?
In most cases yes, the watches are the actual watches we have in stock. Sometimes we use a stock image if we have several of the same watches. On new watches we scan an image from the manufactures catalog.

Are watches water-resistant?
Unless stated in the individual watch listing pre- owned water-resistant style watches have not been tested to insure water-resistant integrity and are not guaranteed to be water-resistant. For new watches manufacturers guidelines apply.

How can your prices be so low?
We have buyers out all over the world looking for watches to buy. WE are also members of the NAWCC & IWJG. Our contacts in these organizations give us the buying power to obtain wristwatches at incredibly low prices and we can pass the savings on to the consumer.

Do you buy watches from the general public?
Absolutely! We are always interested in purchasing high quality wristwatches. We are not interested in watches that are sold to the masses in big name discount stores. A good rule of thumb is "if it was made in Switzerland we are interested"

I am looking for watch you don't show. Can you help?
Yes, WE pride ourselves on our ability to "hunt" for that specific wristwatch you are looking for. Our salespeople will be more than happy to try and help. We will give you personal service.

Do you have a storefront? Yes, unlike other Internet retailers we have a store where you can actually handle the watches we sell. We are located at 1330 Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas. We are open Monday- Friday 10:00am-6:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00- 3:00pm. WE are closed on Sunday

What are your credentials?
We have been in business for over 10 years as a high line wristwatch & jewelry retailer. We are members of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) and The International Watch & Jewelry Guild (IWJG) we are also listed with the jewelers Board of Trade (JBT). We also sell on E-bay under the name watchguys and have a very favorable feedback rating. We also sell our watches on watchnet.com with positive feedback as a seller who can be trusted. Many of our salespersons are watch collectors and have a real passion for wristwatches - we love to talk about them.

Do you service wristwatches?
Yes, even if you did not buy your watch from us we have a staff of qualified watchmakers. We can service virtually any type of wristwatch. Please call or e-mail us for information. We also sell numerous accessories to dress up your watch such as diamond dials & diamond bezels. We can sell you genuine factory original accessories or high quality aftermarket accessories.
