The Four C's

Carat - A diamond is not measured by its actual physical size and bigger does not always mean better. The size of your diamond is determined by it's unit of weight. A carat is divided into 100 points. 75 points = 3/4 of a carat.

Color - A colorless diamond is worth the most. There are many color ranges of diamonds believe it or not and they include yellow tint and even brown.

Clarity - The nature of the diamond and its imperfections. The less imperfections it has the more valuable. They can contain carbon spots that can be measured by a trained proffesional to determine its value.

Cut - The preciseness of a cut diamond determines its ability to reflect light. An exact mathematical formula is put into place to maximize the diamond's ability to reflect light.
